From Our Founder, Octavio Guzman:
"East Bay FC is devoted to providing an opportunity to all youth players. The club strives to bridge the gap for minorities through mentoring and nurturing player and leadership development both on and off of the field. Eastbay FC is player-centered; everything we do is for the improvement of the player. We are strongly focused on providing support to the youth in the most disadvantaged sectors of society. Our goal is to create an environment in which together everyone achieves more.
The club's work does not stop off the field, and we feel that it is our obligation to help our youth achieve greatness off the field as well. We will accomplish this by actively engaging with our players through mentoring and providing them with supportive outlets. Our staff will provide academic guidance, personal life advice, and assist them with playing at the collegiate level with the network we have developed over the years.
Training sessions will center on a play, practice, play method. Through this method, our coaching staff can ask guided questions to get players engaged and create a learning environment. The club's philosophy will be seen through each team by establishing a system in which the teams will have a similar play and practice methodology. By creating such a structure, we will enable our players to grow within a team environment."
